Soloplan and Trans.eu to intensify their cooperation

The digital logistics platform Trans.eu will be integrated into Soloplan software development company’s TMS CarLo® platform in the future.

(Kempten/Berlin, 31.08.2021) A new era is marked in the history of cross-company cooperation, as the two top players in Logistics 4.0 – Soloplan GmbH and Trans.eu GmbH – decide to walk hand in hand, synergizing their digital solutions. The Trans.eu transport platform is currently being integrated into Soloplan’s CarLo® Transport Management System.

The resulting new features for Soloplan customers make freight allocation even safer

Numerous new functionalities, such as carrier verification, management of freight service providers or the automatic sending of enquiries to carriers, can now be handled directly from the TMS.

This means that a service provider is automatically checked before the contract is awarded and, if the result is negative, the contract is refused or the client is notified of the negative rating of the potential contractor.

Problem-free information flow

The direct integration of Trans.eu platform features into the TMS means that Soloplan customers will no longer have to switch platforms in the future. Information is transferred between the TMS and Trans.eu transparently and without the need for changing the medium of communication. This will reduce the workload and the error rate, compared to the old process, thus generating savings for companies in terms of time, money and valuable resources.

  • Logistics processes can only run smoothly if information flows transparently and processes can be controlled centrally. Therefore, the cooperation between a TMS provider and a logistics platform is groundbreaking for the further strategic shift in orientation towards offering Trans.eu functions directly via various TMSs.

“This will allow our customers to gain access to more features, as well as improve their transparency and security. We are therefore pleased to be working together with Trans.eu on Logistics 4.0,” emphasizes Tobias Rucht, Area Sales Manager at Soloplan.

This allows for secure and trustworthy cooperation with transport service providers across national borders. Freight offers can be negotiated and contracted in real time via the platform as well as in a live messenger. To increase market transparency, price algorithms provide fair price estimates for selected types of cargo and routes. A built-in track & trace feature also allows real-time monitoring of freight on the road. In addition to this, Trans.eu is an open-ended system and offers extensive API integration with existing TMS systems. Logisticians who use an existing Transport Management System receive additional Logistics 4.0 functionalities through integration with Trans.eu.
